The Red Gold Rush 100 packs 100 miles of Wisconsin gravel grit into a loop that starts in Athens and finishes at Miltrim Farms. Riders will tackle a rugged mix of red-granite gravel and paved country roads, rolling through the quiet backroads of Marathon County before turning toward the finish at Miltrim Farms just outside of Athens. It may be 50 miles shorter than its bigger sibling, but don’t mistake that for easy—the roads are still rough, the climbs still punchy, and there’s plenty of gravel waiting to bruise you.
